| | | F A S T (track) | A dry dirt track condition.
| | | | F I L L Y | A female horse under the age of 5; from 5 she will be referred to as a broodmare.
| | | | F I N A L P O S I T I O N | Final position refers to where a horse finished in a race.
| | | | F I R M (track) | A turf track condition that corresponds to fast dirt.
| | | | F I T N E S S | All horses start at 50% which needs to be increased for competitive racing. Training, vitamins and racing all contribute toward fitness gains but avoid over-training.
| | | | F O R M | A horse’s racing history is referred to as form, which outlines its runs/places/wins/earning stats.
| | | | F U R L O N G | Measurement of distance. 1 furlong equals 200 metres.
The minimum / maximum racing distances are 5 furlongs (1000M) / 16 furlongs (3200M).
